Want to start this post with a wish for a Happy Imbolc to all of you! We look forward to the blessings of the Goddess and the fruitfulness of the coming year. This January has been cold and hard to deal with in many ways. We face an uncertain future in the USA with many changes and challenges ahead of us. As a group, Crooked River Circle has seen a shift in the community and many of our rituals have been smaller than we have seen in a long time. Now as we enter a new year and face the challenges of this new leadership in the country, we are almost grateful for the decline in people coming to the rituals as we have made the decision to stop having public ones in 2025. It is not from a place of fear, but rather from a place of protection. We do not want the pagans that open their doors to rituals to be concerned about who has that information. We no longer trust Meta. We are not comfortable sharing private addresses for events. We also cannot support the renting of spaces in 2025 as funds are low. So we still have the Crooked River Website, we are going to start posting blogs more often there and if we are gathering in a park or somewhere outside like that we will discuss it there. We have also started a discord group and we will share the link to join below.
